Why I’m a TEFL Teacher

One day, whilst sat at my desk in the office I just thought “I don’t want this anymore” I want to travel and see/experience lots of different things and just...LIVE. I’ve been through enough to know that life is simply too short and I want to start doing things now. So, I did my TEFL course, looked for a TEFL job in various locations around the world (came across a few scams also) and then was offered a job over here – A Coruna, Galicia, North West Spain.

I’ve just completed my first  year teaching English and I love it, I don’t regret packing my job in at all, I was a slave to my job and although when I was younger I thrived on the work and the pressure...it’s just not me anymore. Of course, I miss the office banter, my colleagues and the pay but all in all, I much prefer this lifestyle.

I’m staying another year here and then who knows?
